Technical Security and Signals Countermeasures (TSSC) Analyst to support a U.S. Intelligence Agency in Springfield, VA.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
The TSSC Analyst will provide technical security and signals countermeasures (TSSC) analysis support to anticipate, detect, identify, and mitigate technical security vulnerabilities that could compromise sensitive information.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct analysis of technical security data collected during Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) surveys and IPMS operations
• Evaluate RF signals of interest and assist in determining their threat potential
• Prepare specialized technical risk assessment products, reports, and briefings
• Support the identification of physical and acoustical security deficiencies
• Analyze complex technical security issues and provide cost-effective recommendations
• Assist in the development of corrective actions to mitigate identified deficiencies
• Generate finished correspondence, documents, and threat reports in accordance with established guidelines
• Support TEMPEST countermeasure reviews and technical evaluations as needed
• Maintain familiarity with current TSCM, Cyber, TEMPEST, and CI policies and procedures
• Assist implementation of TSSC Technician OJT program preparing technicians for success through training and hands-on experience
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 7 years of experience in technical security, signals analysis, data analysis, or related fields
• Complete at least 40 hours of discipline-specific development or refresher training every fiscal year
• Meet minimum training requirements for access to DOW networks in accordance with DODD 8140.01
• Experience with intelligence analysis and the intelligence lifecycle
• Active TS/SCI, with a willingness to take a polygraph test
Desired Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or post-graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Possess TSSC Analyst Training from the Interagency Training Center (ITC)
• Interagency Training Center (ITC) TSCM Certification
• Credentialed graduate of an accredited federal or DoD CI training academy (ex. FBI Academy, etc.)
• Experience writing and editing technical documents
Salary at VISTA is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $125,000.00 to $180,000.00 (annualized USD) based on years of experience. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of VISTA's total compensation package for employees.
