Full Job Description
This position is responsible for supporting EQS and ENS Sales efforts by managing accounts, developing relationships, continuing growth into new markets and responsible for representing EQS and ENS at customers and in our markets both technically and commercially. This position works closely with the EQS Sales team in providing technical assistance to customers regarding the application of EQS/ENS's capabilities.

ESSENITAL FUNCTIONS

  • Maintain and build customer relationships through personal interaction and regular visits to customers' facilities.
  • Develops steel ingot process, sales contract and inquiry review.
  • Negotiate sales contracts and steel supply agreements.
  • Evaluates customer needs and provides customer services.
  • Responsible to strategically support EQS and ENS products, as it may be applicable.
  • Maintains an up-to-date understanding of applicable steelmaking processes.
  • Provide input and direction into credit decisions on customers.
  • Communicates steel ingot market requirements.
  • Assists customers with metallurgical services.
  • Must have ability and desire to work with others.
  • Meets attendance requirements.
  • Abides by all policies and procedures established by the Company including plant safety regulations and work rules.
  • Performs other duties as deemed necessary.


EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in Metallurgy or Material Science preferred, or a commensurate level of related experience and education.

EXPERIENCE: 8+ years' sales and technical experience with carbon, alloy and stainless steels required. Experience with nickel based alloys is ideal. A significant portion of experience in direct sales is also useful.

OTHER: Due to federal contracting requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

DRIVING: Required to have an active and valid driver's license, or the ability to travel and commute as required, and comply with the Motor Vehicle Safety Program.

EQS TRAINING: Theoretical Steelmaking Course (unless technical degree supersedes).
