Job Title
Technical Quality Assurance, Sr Professional I

About your role:

As a Technical Quality Assurance, Sr Professional I, you will evaluate software quality across applications, integrations and releases. You will work with development, product and delivery teams to identify defects, validate fixes and improve test coverage. Your work supports reliable software delivery and helps ensure Fiserv solutions meet defined performance, security and functional requirements.

What you'll do:
  • Develop test plans, test cases and test scripts for functional, regression, integration and performance testing.
  • Execute manual and automated tests to validate software behavior against documented requirements.
  • Evaluate defects, document reproduction steps and partner with development teams through resolution.
  • Analyze JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), Extensible Markup Language (XML) and RESTful application programming interface (API) responses to validate integrations.
  • Apply quality assurance processes within Agile delivery cycles, including sprint planning, backlog refinement and release validation.
  • Contribute to peer reviews, test data preparation and quality metrics that improve test coverage and release readiness.

Experience you'll need to have:
  • 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance testing for enterprise software applications.
  • 2+ years of experience in automation testing using test automation tools or similar frameworks.
  • 2+ years of experience in performance testing for web applications, APIs or integrated systems.
  • 2+ years of experience working in Agile delivery environments with sprint-based planning and testing.
  • 4+ years of experience working with JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), Extensible Markup Language (XML) and RESTful application programming interface (API) services.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.


Experience that would be great to have:
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
  • Experience with security testing practices for web applications or APIs.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle processes, including release management and defect tracking.
  • Certification in software testing methodologies, such as Certified Tester Foundation Level or equivalent certification.


How you'll work:
  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.


Travel:

This role requires occasional travel (up to 10%).

Salary Range
$74,000.00 - $122,400.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
