  • Maintain project plans, milestone schedules, action item trackers, risk analyses, meeting notes, and decision logs to support accountability, visibility, and timely follow-up.
  • Coordinate technical inputs, drawing reviews, test requirements, supplier information, customer feedback, and internal approvals with the appropriate technical or functional owners.
  • Facilitate completion and controlled release of APQP, validation, manufacturing, and customer-required project documentation.
  • Coordinate welding-related project activities, including qualification timing, test scheduling, certification scope, and customer or standard-specific requirements, with qualified technical personnel.
  • Lead project review meetings, communicate status, document decisions, follow up on actions, identify barriers, and escalate unresolved issues as appropriate.
  • Identify and escalate quality, safety, customer impact, schedule, supplier capability, requirement clarity, and workload risks with objective evidence, recommended next steps, clear ownership, and appropriate urgency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Project Management, Manufacturing, Operations, or a closely related discipline.
  • Project management training, PMP, CAPM, or equivalent certification is preferred. Equivalent experience leading cross-functional engineering, product development, or manufacturing projects will also be considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage engineering project scope, schedules, priorities, risks, stakeholder communication, follow-up, decision support, and closeout activities in a technical manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to understand and coordinate technical information, including engineering drawings, customer specifications, manufacturing requirements, inspection records, test results, and controlled documentation.
  • Knowledge of pressure relief products, rupture disks, pressure boundary components, custom welded assemblies, and manufacturing processes is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with welding processes, welding qualifications, or applicable pressure equipment standards is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications is required; experience with Microsoft Planner, Excel-based tracking tools, CAD systems, APQP, engineering change control, or ERP systems is considered an asset.
