Titre du poste : Technical Project Manager

Le chef de projet soutient la chaîne de valeur et gère les activités d'une équipe multidisciplinaire afin de réaliser des projets d'outillage de la chaîne d'approvisionnement.

Il est responsable de projets complets ayant une étendue et une complexité importantes. Le titulaire dirige l'exécution des projets et il est responsable du budget, de la planification des échéanciers et du suivi des jalons de projet.

Il exerce une influence stratégique sur le noyau de fournisseurs afin d'atteindre les objectifs d'approvisionnement en matière de qualité, de livraison et de coûts.

Le poste s'effectue à notre établissement de Longueuil du lundi au vendredi, selon des horaires flexibles et exclusivement en présentiel.

À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien?

Les projets portent sur la gestion des activités de remplacement, de réparation ou de correction d'outillage au sein de la base de fournisseurs chez P&WC.

Les priorités d'appui technique ci-dessous constituent le principal niveau de responsabilité attendu dans le cadre du poste :

  • Responsable de la réalisation des projets techniques de la chaîne d'approvisionnement du début à la fin, en gérant la portée, le budget, les produits livrables et les échéanciers.


  • Préparer et présenter l'analyse de rentabilisation du projet afin d'obtenir un financement.


  • Diriger les membres de l'équipe multidisciplinaire et fournir régulièrement des mises à jour.


  • Identifier et éliminer les obstacles interfonctionnels engendrant des problèmes de processus et de qualité, et alerter les dirigeants responsables au besoin si des obstacles menacent la progression du projet.


  • Mener (avec l'aide d'une équipe, s'il y a lieu) et exécuter les évaluations (sur place si requis) avec les fournisseurs et élaborer des plans d'action.


  • Analyser le rapport d'inspection des pièces et effectuer une analyse statistique dans le but de comprendre la capabilité du procédé de fabrication.


  • Collaborer avec les fournisseurs pour améliorer la qualité des pièces et développer les plans d'inspection.


  • Promouvoir l'application de nouvelles technologies tels que l'impression de noyaux de sables, et les procédés additifs de moulage à la cire perdue.


Qu'est-ce qu'il vous faut pour réussir?

  • Baccalauréat en ingénierie mécanique, aérospatiale ou industriel avec 5 à 10 ans d'expérience pertinente


  • Expertise en processus de moulage (Moulage en sable, en cire perdue, pièces structurelles et pièces à profils aérodynamiques.)


  • Expérience en inspection 3D avec des logiciels tels que POLYWORKS et GOM


  • Expérience avec les outils de gestion de projet et PLM


Ce poste s'inscrit dans un milieu de travail francophone, néanmoins il nécessite une très bonne connaissance de l'anglais pour lire et comprendre, sur une base quotidienne, de la documentation et des termes techniques qui peuvent émaner d'organisations internationales, ainsi que pour écrire et communiquer en anglais avec des clients, des fournisseurs ou des collègues internationaux.

What will your day-to-day look like?

Projects focus on managing tooling replacement, refurbishment, or rework activities within P&WC's supplier base.

The technical support priorities listed below represent the primary responsibilities expected for this position:

  • Lead supply chain technical projects from initiation to completion by managing project scope, budget, deliverables, and schedules.


  • Prepare and present the project business case to secure funding.


  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams and provide regular project updates.


  • Identify and remove cross-functional barriers that create process or quality issues, and escalate to the appropriate leaders when obstacles threaten project progress.


  • Lead and perform supplier assessments (including on-site assessments, when required), with the support of a team as needed, and develop associated action plans.


  • Analyze part inspection reports and perform statistical analyses to assess manufacturing process capability.


  • Collaborate with suppliers to improve part quality and develop inspection plans.


  • Promote the implementation of new technologies, such as 3D-printed sand cores and additive manufacturing processes for investment casting.
