Responsibilities

Ready to make an impact! Peraton has an exciting opportunity for a cleared Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team, developing a next generation satellite terminal on a mission critical Space and Intelligence Program.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects
  • Serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management
  • Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, and prepares status reports
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, clients, and other stakeholders
  • Manages major subcontracts efforts in excess of $30M, planning and executing multiple simultaneous construction sites
  • Coordinates between contracts, procurement, subcontracts, security, safety, facilities, property and human resources to build coalitions to address issues
  • Operates independently to solve complex, multi-stakeholder issues while maintaining communication and coordination with other elements of the program
  • Coordinates between military facility hosts, government program office, industry teammates, subcontractors and local authorities having jurisdiction to meet all site requirements including environmental, air quality, storm water and other building permit requirements
  • Directly responsible for budgets and schedules
  • Prepares and briefs program management and customer on weekly activities, budget, schedule, action items and ongoing issues
  • Tracks and coordinates dozens of active sub-tier subcontractor activities to align to schedule, cost and safety constraints
  • Coordinates with subordinates to ensure remote personnel are enabled to perform their functions without distraction for health and safety

  • Experience in project management principles, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall), and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Proficiency with project tracking and collaboration tools, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Teams, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Active/Current TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a Poly

 

Target Salary Range$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
