Technical Project ManagerAbout your role:You will lead complex technical projects that support predictable, consistent delivery across Fiserv. You will partner with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and project sponsors to define scope, manage timelines, address risks, and maintain alignment from initiation through completion. This role matters because it helps teams deliver large-scale work with clear governance, informed decisions, and measurable business outcomes.
What you'll do:• Lead complex technical projects from initiation through delivery, aligning scope, schedule, budget, dependencies, and success criteria.
• Develop and maintain consolidated project plans that define milestones, deliverables, governance, risks, issues, and change control activities.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to establish project objectives, clarify roles and responsibilities, and maintain alignment on expected outcomes.
• Communicate project status, risks, decisions, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership to support timely, effective decision-making.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple business units to drive execution, resolve obstacles, and support One Fiserv objectives.
• Apply project management methods and lifecycle practices to monitor progress, mitigate risk, and improve delivery predictability across complex initiatives.
• Facilitate project kickoff meetings, governance forums, and escalation paths to promote accountability and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience you'll need to have:• 6+ years of experience in project management, technical project delivery, or consulting, including management of complex projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
• 6+ years of experience using project management processes, methodologies, and project lifecycle practices to deliver measurable business outcomes.
• 5+ years of experience working with external clients and cross-functional teams in banking, financial services, software, or a related regulated industry.
• Experience with stakeholder management, risk management, issue resolution, change control, and matrixed team coordination across business and technical functions.
• Experience using project management tools to build plans, track milestones, monitor dependencies, and report status.
• Bachelor's Degree in business, information systems, project management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
Experience that would be great to have:• Agile or Scrum experience in a technology delivery environment.
• Scaled Agile Framework experience, including Release Train Engineer responsibilities.
• Project Management Professional certification or equivalent project management credential.
• Experience supporting large-scale change initiatives in banking, financial services, or software organizations.
How you'll work:• This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
Travel: Approximately 10% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected.
