Technical Project Manager - Advisor II

About your role:

As a Technical Project Manager - Advisor II, you will drive execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives across CUS Surrounds and CUS DevOps within Cross Core. You will work at the center of delivery, partnering with engineering, DevOps, compliance, and business stakeholders to align scope, timelines, and dependencies. Your work will help improve execution discipline, delivery visibility, and measurable progress across multiple concurrent initiatives.

What you'll do:
  • Drive execution of complex initiatives, ensuring delivery alignment across engineering, DevOps, compliance, and business teams.
  • Own project setup and work decomposition, including creation and maintenance of project artifacts such as Clarity projects, Jira features, backlog tracking, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate DevOps enablement efforts, including GitLab onboarding, backlog readiness, and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) adoption across application teams.
  • Lead cross-functional planning and execution by aligning stakeholders on scope, priorities, milestones, and delivery timelines.
  • Manage dependencies, risks, and execution gaps across multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring issues are identified early, assigned clear ownership, and tracked through resolution.
  • Support regulatory and compliance-driven delivery by structuring work, monitoring progress, and helping teams meet required timelines and deliverables.
  • Provide clear execution visibility to leadership through status reporting, risk communication, milestone tracking, and escalation of blockers affecting delivery.
  • Facilitate adoption of consistent delivery practices, including Agile execution, backlog management standards, and cross-team coordination models.

Experience you'll need to have:
  • 8+ years of experience in technical project management, program delivery, or delivery management supporting complex, cross-functional technology initiatives.
  • 8+ years of experience coordinating software development, infrastructure, DevOps, and business stakeholders across multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • 8+ years of experience using project and delivery tools such as Jira, Clarity, backlog management platforms, or similar project tracking systems.
  • 8+ years of experience managing dependencies, risks, milestones, and execution reporting for technology programs with measurable delivery outcomes.
  • 1+ years of Fiserv systems experience.
  • Experience supporting Agile delivery practices, work decomposition, backlog readiness, and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
  • Experience communicating project status, risks, and blockers to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders with clear action plans and follow-through.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, information systems, computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.


Experience that would be great to have:
  • Experience supporting DevOps enablement efforts, including GitLab onboarding and adoption across application teams.
  • Experience delivering work in regulated, compliance-driven, or financial services environments.
  • Experience supporting cross-core platforms, enterprise application ecosystems, or shared services technology organizations.
  • Project management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or equivalent certification, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.


How you'll work:
  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
