Full Job Description
Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Project Manager to support a growing client in the advanced manufacturing industry in Santa Clara, CA. The Technical Project Manager role requires onsite collaboration and frequent travel during the initial onboarding period. The Technical Project Manager role is ideal for a driven project professional who can adapt to change quickly and support complex manufacturing initiatives.

Responsibilities of the Technical Project Manager include:
• Coordinate hardware and manufacturing project activities across engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain teams.
• Maintain schedules, monitor project progress, and ensure critical tasks are completed on time.
• Facilitate meetings, document decisions, and provide regular status reporting to key stakeholders.
• Partner with senior Program Managers to manage priorities, mitigate risks, and resolve project challenges.
• Support domestic and international manufacturing efforts through site visits, project reviews, and customer-facing interactions.

Requirements of the Technical Project Manager include:
• 2+ years of Project Management, Project Coordination, or technical operations experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments with evolving priorities and minimal structure.
• Strong communication skills, accountability, and willingness to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Interest in growing into a Program Management career path while initially serving in a support-focused capacity.
• PMP certification preferred and willingness to travel 50-60% domestically initially, with 10-20% travel to manufacturing facilities in Mexico and China.

Compensation for the Technical Project Manager include:
• $70,000 - $100,000 annually
