Job Description:

Adheres to change management policies by documenting work and representing complex changes in weekly change management meetings. Participates in business planning meetings to recommend the best technical, cost-effective network solutions that meet capacity, scalability, and performance requirements. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending trainings and seminars, reviewing professional publications, and studying for relevant certifications. Reviews and enforces established processes related to project support, adjusting or developing new processes as needed. Coordinates with team leadership in planning, prioritization, and requesting resources based on team, regional, and organizational priorities. Submits weekly status reports to team leadership summarizing projects, support, and administrative topics. Builds and maintains successful vendor relationships to identify and deploy the best technical solutions for projects or organizational goals. Monitors resource capacities, adjusting as needed to ensure optimal utilization and providing resource estimates to leadership. Updates project documentation with resource allocations, project change requests, issues, risks, milestones, and deliverables, providing formal and ad hoc reports. Manages multiple projects from moderately to highly complex, coordinating with internal and external project owners for enterprise-wide impact or business transformational change. Develops project/program management plans, including communications, estimated costs, resource requirements, equipment procurement, scope development, timelines, and stakeholder management. Manages changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, working with vendors to align project schedules and ensure milestones are known. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven skills in the coordination and assignment of team resources for enterprise-level technical projects. [Required]
  • Proven skills in the collaboration with team Leadership, the Leadership of other cross-functional teams, and the technical teams in the planning, coordination, and deployment of enterprise-level technical projects. This includes the facilitation of weekly and ad-hoc project meetings. [Required]
  • Proven skills in the management of technical projects utilizing industry standard methodologies and practices. [Preferred]
  • Proven skillsmanaging and delivering projects in relevant infrastructure domains such as network, storage, compute, load balancing, and cloud [Required]
  • Proven skills in providing guidance, mentorship, and development of a team of technical employees. [Required]
  • Proven skills in verbal and written communication and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels, including the executive level. [Required]

  • Bachelor's [Required]

Field of Study:
  • Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology

Work Experience:
  • 3+ experience in providing project management support for technical projects in a complex and dynamic environment.[Required]
  • 3+ years in the support of an enterprise network platform in a 24×7 environment [Required]
  • 5+ years of related experience. [Preferred]
  • Experience and/or certification in ITIL Service Management Framework.
  • Experience and/or certification in the disciplines of Project Management.
  • Experience with scheduling, producing and understanding the results of wireless surveys.
  • Experience with working with construction teams and project managers in the planning and implementing I.T. services for new construction builds.
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment.
