The Technical Program Manager, Semiconductor Projects will focus on tracking schedules, managing documentation, monitoring risk, and reporting progress across various teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in semiconductor development and product lifecycle management. They will ensure that program objectives are met through meticulous attention to detail in project execution and communication.
This position will report to the Director, Technical Program Management and will work closely with Managers and Engineers on the semiconductor technology team in our Saratoga, CA office.
What you will do:
• Maintain and update project schedules to ensure timely execution of key deliverables. Track milestones and deadlines, providing regular status updates.
• Collaborate with team leads to manage resources and priorities.
• Organize and maintain all program-related documentation, including project plans, technical documents, reports, and meeting minutes.
• Identify potential risks and maintain a risk log. Work with project leads to develop mitigation strategies and track the resolution of key issues.
• Prepare and distribute regular status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and any potential delays.
• Facilitate communication across teams and disciplines, and ensure stakeholders are informed. Schedule and organize project meetings, including preparing agendas, documenting action items, and following up on deliverables.
• Ensure all external partners, vendors, and internal teams adhere to program schedules and documentation requirements.
• Assist in tracking the budget and expediting the procurement process.
What you bring to this role:
• You have 5 years of experience working in spacecraft development environments
• You have experience in the design and development of aerospace hardware, software and/or assembly, integration and test.
• You have experience as an engineering lead, technical program manager, or equivalent
• You are proficient with schedule tracking tools such as SmartSheet, or alternative
• You have experience with Jira and Confluence
• You have experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
Bonus points for the following:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related discipline
• Familiarity with ITAR and EAR regulations and compliance
• Experience with planning and execution of Spacecraft Integration & Test procedures
This is a full time, exempt position, based out of our Saratoga office. The target base pay for this position is $100,000 - $200,000 annually. The total compensation packaged will be determined by various factors such as your relevant job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
We are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and used-so we're looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience on LEO satellite component development, design and in-orbit activities. If that's your experience - then we'll be immediately wow-ed.
