Full Job Description
LotusWorks is seeking a highly capable Technical Program Engineer to support multiple active Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and Commissioning programs across our mission-critical client sites. This role provides cross-functional technical leadership, supports standardization and continuous improvement, and ensures alignment between engineering, commissioning, operations, and business development functions. The ideal candidate brings strong technical judgment, excellent coordination skills, and experience working in complex, fast-paced industrial or semiconductor environments.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical oversight across active O&M and commissioning programs to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with client and corporate objectives.
  • Support the standardization and continuous improvement of engineering, operational processes, templates, and reporting across multiple projects and sites.
  • Act as a technical liaison between operations, commissioning, engineering, and business development teams, ensuring integration of technical requirements.
  • Assist in developing and reviewing project scopes, schedules, estimates, and resource plans in alignment with contractual and client expectations.
  • Lead or participate in technical reviews, lessons learned sessions, and risk assessments to drive reliability, performance, and best-practice adoption.
  • Support the development, accuracy, and maintenance of program dashboards and KPI tracking tools measuring uptime, performance, resource deployment, and project health.
  • Contribute to business development and RFP efforts by drafting technical approaches, reviewing proposal content, and supporting pricing inputs.
  • Participate in technical vetting, resume development, and candidate interviews to ensure incoming personnel meet project and client requirements.
  • Support the Technical Operations Manager with workload forecasting, planning, and technical resource allocation across programs.
  • Ensure technical governance and compliance, maintaining documentation for audits, client reviews, handover packages, and turnover deliverables.
  • Provide client-facing technical support by attending meetings, presenting program-level updates, and representing engineering and operational perspectives.
  • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
Skills Required:
  • 3+ years of experience in semiconductor, data center, industrial manufacturing, commissioning, or O&M environments.
  • Hands-on experience with CMMS platforms (e.g., Maximo, ProCal). - nice to have
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar data reporting and visualization tools.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across diverse teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data tracking, scheduling, and compliance monitoring.
  • Comfortable managing technical documentation and supporting version control processes.
  • Reliable and self-motivated, with a proactive approach to task management and follow-through.
  • Strong technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, controls, or process systems used in mission-critical facilities.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting O&M or commissioning programs, reliability initiatives, or technical operations teams.
  • Proficiency with reporting tools, CMMS platforms, dashboards, or KPI tracking (Power BI, Tableau, Maximo, ProCal, etc.).
  • Ability to interpret technical scopes, drawings, schedules, and resource plans.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with experience interfacing directly with clients.
Education / Licenses / Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
