About the Role

As part of Schneider Electric's Enterprise IT organization, you will serve as the technical owner for the Services domain, partnering with Product Management, Solution Architects, development teams, and strategic implementation partners to drive business transformation through modern SAP and Salesforce-based solutions. This role sits at the center of a major multi-year Service Management transformation program that is currently moving from design into build, with pilot deployments, global rollouts, and platform modernization initiatives already underway.

This is an opportunity to own a critical business domain, influence solution architecture and roadmap decisions, and help shape how Schneider Electric delivers service operations at scale. You will work across complex ERP landscapes, guide implementation partners, support Agile delivery teams, and ensure that solutions align with both business objectives and enterprise technology strategy.

Role Responsibilities

As a Technical Product Owner - Services, you will:
  • Provide technical and process expertise and drive solution and process standardization.
  • Provide leading practice on design decisions and drive resolution with Product Managers/Owners.
  • Confirm process scope and required customizations with Product Managers/Owners.
  • Work with Product Managers/Owners to identify and quantify value drivers.
  • Work with Solution Architects and provide functional input and expertise to development of the Solution Roadmap and Architecture Runway.
  • Participate in and support Scrum teams through sprint planning, execution, documentation, and delivery of user stories.
  • Help teams segment, sequence, and prioritize work efforts.
  • Drive development and testing of technical solutions.
  • Assist in addressing risks and clearing impediments.
  • Provide guidance and guardrails to ensure solutions remain aligned with the overall vision.
  • Encourage innovation and problem-solving to address user concerns without customizations.
  • Help teams identify test scope and verify that end-to-end processes are appropriately covered.
  • Drive defect resolution and remove roadblocks.
  • Collaborate with Functional and Development teams to ensure delivery of user stories within predefined sprints.
  • Work with Change Management on stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Help develop and execute comprehensive cutover plans encompassing business and technical activities for end-to-end solutions.
  • Participate in Program Ceremonies, including Program Increment Planning and backlog grooming.


Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of Service Order Management and Service Projects planning and execution capabilities, industry-leading practices, and technologies, including but not limited to:
    • Cost rate and labor hours (estimates/planned and actual)
    • Expense management
    • Material management
    • Work Order management
    • Workforce management
    • Report management
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a technology/functional consultant in Service Management areas.
  • Multi-platform experience and strong knowledge of ServiceMax and SAP Service Order Management capabilities, including dependencies and integrations with Finance, Sales & Distribution, and Supply Chain Management.
  • Demonstrated experience playing a leading role in multiple complex ERP implementation projects.
  • Salesforce (ServiceMax) and/or SAP S/4HANA hands-on experience enabling capabilities and designing, building, and implementing solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and developing solutions leveraging integration and middleware technologies, including SAP PI, SAP PO, SAP CPI, MuleSoft, and similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Salesforce and SAP implementation methodologies, and project management tools and techniques.
  • Understanding of Agile principles and frameworks, including Scrum and/or Kanban practices and theory. SAFe experience is highly desired.
  • Strong planning, organization, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Persuasive and able to articulate key considerations for process standardization.
  • Ability to manage large work efforts and coordinate distributed teams.
  • End-to-end understanding of business processes and solutions.
  • Proven experience with large business transformation programs leveraging SAP and Salesforce technologies.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 142,400 - USD 213,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
