Full Job Description

Location: HQ - Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Status: Full-time / 100% on-site

Compensation: $100,000 - $110,000 annually

Position Summary: The Technical Product Manager is responsible for devising complex, cross-functional systems, technology and procedures to enable the success of the Kith business. This can include procuring and managing the day to day relationship with 3rd party vendors, or capturing requirements, and implementing new custom technology using Kith’s internal and external system integrators. This position will collaborate daily with senior technical stakeholders, and the successful candidate will need to be highly technical themselves (with either professional engineering or technical architect experience).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to better understand their category of the business, as well as the opportunities for growth.

  • Document learnings, and present potential solutions, the costs associated with the solutions, and the expected timelines for implementation.

  • Design and present underlying systemic architecture, mock-ups, and/or demos to the relevant stakeholders to ensure that the solution remains aligned to their needs.

  • Understand, measure and track KPIs related to the business to ensure that newly implemented solutions are improving team results.

  • Delegate appropriate tasks and features to Associate Product Managers and Product Managers.

  • Align cross-functionally to ensure that projects aren9t impeding other parts of the business, and that expectations are being managed appropriately.

  • Ad-hoc web development triage and consultation. Inspecting the current website code (HTML, Javascript, Liquid), and identifying problems, and suggesting markup solutions to our site development partners.

Implement & oversee approved solutions

  • Build independently using pre-existing tooling, systems and tooling.

  • Collaborate with Kith9s pre-existing system integrators and developers to design custom technology.

  • Procure a 3rd party vendor to implement, configure and operate tooling.

  • Enhance and optimize pre-existing integrations.

Special Projects/Tasks

  • Work closely with legal to shepherd a 3rd party vendor agreement through the procurement process.

  • Provide mentorship and coaching to other Product Managers, Associate Product Managers and stakeholders within the business.

  • Demonstrate and present systems and technology to senior leadership and the executive.

  • Use strong product and technical understanding to prioritize budget spend to deliver product completion. Oversee, audit, development budget and hours through invoice review.

  • Advocate positioning of strategic priorities to leadership and partners regarding projects moving into development/implementation stages.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience

  • Bachelor9s Degree.

  • 5-8 Years of Product Management or Technical/Solutions Architecture experience.

  • Engineering/Software Development experience.

  • Previous experience or extensive knowledge of Retail or eCommerce business.

  • Previous experience or extensive knowledge of PLM / ERP systems.

  • Preferably versed in Logistics & Supply Chain Management.

Skills

  • Expert in SQL (MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL) or other Database Querying Languages.

  • Adept understanding of API design and connectivity. Proficient in Postman or other API testing tooling.

  • Adept understanding of Product Lifecycle and Supply Chain.

  • One or more: Ruby on Rails, React, Javascript, HTML, CSS, etc.

  • Agile Product Management Software - JIRA, Asana, Monday.

  • Experienced, confident written and verbal communicator.

  • Accomplished facilitator and stakeholder manager.

  • Nuanced understanding of retail/ecommerce operations and finances.
