Job Description

This position serves as a strategic execution partner for the North America CTO and Executive Vice President, BGL Green. The role is responsible for driving prioritization, coordination, follow-through, and issue resolution across cross-functional initiatives supporting CTO and Green BU objectives. This role operates as a trusted partner to the EVP to ensure key priorities progress efficiently and that critical action items do not stall due to unclear ownership, competing priorities, or lack of follow-up. The role also supports CTO-related initiatives by providing structured input on technology trends, strategic considerations, and early-stage opportunity framing.

The incumbent will influence senior stakeholders at Director and VP levels through structured coordination, disciplined PDCA execution, and executive-ready communication-without formal authority or direct people leadership.

1. Priority Management & Executive Follow-Up
  • Maintain visibility of EVP priority workstreams and ensure timely progress through structured follow-up and action tracking.
  • Identify risks, delays, bottlenecks, or gaps in ownership; escalate items requiring EVP attention with clear summary and recommended next steps.
  • Proactively "pull forward" work by initiating early alignment and groundwork so EVP engagement occurs at the appropriate point in maturity.
  • Act as an execution partner ensuring follow through on important issues.

2. Cross-Functional Coordination & Alignment
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, BU teams, plants, and internal partners including DNJP.
  • Facilitate alignment discussions, prepare agendas, document outcomes, and drive action closure.
  • Align EVP schedule coordination with administrative support to ensure meetings are purposeful, organized, and outcome-driven.
  • Support re-prioritization and pivoting of work based on changing business needs.

3. PDCA Execution & Continuous Improvement
  • Apply PDCA discipline to ensure consistent follow-through, measurable progress, and standardized execution processes.
  • Establish cadence routines (weekly/monthly) to ensure priorities, commitments, and action items remain on-track.
  • Track progress against key milestones and provide structured status visibility to leadership.

4. Monthly Reporting / Executive Reporting Package
  • Consolidate inputs, financials, and operating updates across Green BU and related functions.
  • Develop monthly reporting packages and summaries for EVP review, including key metrics, risks, and priority outcomes.
  • Analyze and synthesize data trends into executive-level insights and action recommendations.

5. Market / Technology Trend Research & Opportunity Framing
  • Research external market trends and emerging technologies relevant to CTO, Green BU, and PoM/technology strategy areas.
  • Identify potential risks, gaps, and blind spots, and translate findings into actionable insights and considerations for leadership.
  • Summarize findings into executive-ready insights and option framing (what it is, why it matters, and potential next steps).
  • Partner with CTO and cross-functional leaders to support development of forward-looking recommendations and strategic direction.
  • Support early exploration efforts by coordinating internal SMEs and gathering foundational inputs.

6. Stakeholder Communication & Influence
  • Influence cross-functional leaders through strong communication, relationship management, and structured facilitation.
  • Represent EVP intent by initiating alignment and driving execution across stakeholder groups (while EVP maintains final authority).
  • Develop concise executive communications, summaries, and decision-ready materials.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, technology, or related field
  • 7-10+ years of experience in program management, business operations, strategy, or executive support roles

  • Strong executive communication skills, including development of concise, decision-ready materials
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders (Director/VP level) without formal authority
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to synthesize data into actionable insights
  • Experience establishing cadence, tracking milestones, and ensuring accountability (e.g., PDCA or similar disciplines)
  • High level of organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities and shifting demands

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree (MBA or related field)
  • Experience supporting C-suite executives (CTO, EVP, or equivalent) in a strategic or chief-of-staff-type capacity
  • Background in automotive, manufacturing, or technology-driven organizations
  • Familiarity with product/technology strategy, emerging technology trends, or innovation initiatives
  • Experience developing executive-level reporting packages, dashboards, or business reviews
  • Exposure to financial analysis, budgeting, or business performance reporting
