Job Title: Technical Marketing Manager

Reports To: Director of Marketing or VP of Product Management

Location: [ONSITE - CHANDLER, AZ]

Job Summary:

The Technical Marketing Manager at Minit Charger is the technical evangelist responsible for translating the complex features and benefits of our fast-charging hardware and AssetPro 360 cloud platform into compelling, educational content for our technical and operational audiences (e.g., Fleet Managers, Maintenance Engineers, Logistics Directors). This role requires a strong understanding of power electronics, battery technology, industrial IoT, and the ability to articulate our competitive advantages to drive product adoption in high-stakes environments like airports and distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Content & Collateral Development:

  • Create In-Depth Technical Content: Author and manage high-value technical collateral, including white papers on opportunity charging physics, application notes, competitive benchmarks, technical specifications, and detailed integration guides for the AssetPro 360 API.
  • Case Studies: Work with the Sales and Customer Success teams to develop technical case studies showcasing ROI derived from Minit Charger's patented technology, emphasizing reduced costs, increased uptime, and battery health optimization.
  • Webinars and Demonstrations: Develop and deliver technical webinars and product demonstrations that clearly explain the architecture of our charging systems (e.g., ALTUS II) and the functionality of our asset management software.

Product Positioning and Messaging:

  • Technical Positioning: Define and refine technical product positioning that highlights the differentiators of Minit Charger's solutions, such as the efficiency of Wide-Bandgap (WBG) power electronics and the data-driven insights from AssetPro 360.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive technical analysis of competitor fast-charging systems and fleet management tools, providing the Sales and Product teams with clear, defensible counter-messaging and technical talking points.

Sales and Field Enablement:

  • Sales Training: Build and deliver in-depth technical training modules for the sales and channel partner teams, focusing on the technical advantages of opportunity charging over traditional battery swapping.
  • Tools for the Field: Develop technical pitch decks, configuration guides, and comparison matrices that help the Sales Engineering team scope and propose solutions tailored to specific fleet sizes and operational needs (e.g., 24/7 warehouse vs. airport GSE).

Required Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

Experience:

  • 3+ years in a technical role such as Technical Marketing, Product Marketing, or Sales Engineering for a hardware or software company.
  • Direct experience with EV charging infrastructure, power electronics, battery systems, or industrial IoT/telematics is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of creating high-quality, long-form technical content (articles, white papers, tutorials).

Technical Skills:

Strong foundational knowledge of DC power, battery chemistries (Lead-Acid, Lithium-ion), and charging topologies.

  • Familiarity with IoT concepts including data ingestion, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and industrial communication protocols (e.g., OCPP, CAN Bus).

Desired Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience in the Onroad EV Charging, Material Handling (Forklifts) and/or Airport Ground Support Equipment (GSE) industries.
  • Working knowledge of CRM and Marketing Automation tools for tracking content effectiveness.
  • Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills, capable of presenting complex technical information to C-level executives and maintenance crews alike.
