Position Summary
Interior Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Lead | Anatomic Pathology, to join our Laboratory Services Department at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC.

About the Job
In accordance with established vision and values of the organization this position performs and is responsible for the overall quality of all testing performed in the Anatomic Pathology area This position is responsible and accountable for technical consultation and advisory services to others, monitors existing procedures and equipment and assists in the implementation of new methods as directed. This position coordinates the quality management activities within the Anatomic Pathology area.

This is a Permanent Full Time (1.0) opportunity.
Days of Work: Monday to Friday

Shift Times: 06:30 to 14:30, 07:00 to 15:00, 08:00 to 16:00

Qualfications
Medical Laboratory Technologist with current certification with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) and eligible for membership with the BC Society of Laboratory Sciences (BCSLS) and/or CSMLS
Completion of recognized advanced specialty program/training in the designated discipline
5 years' recent related experience, including 3 years leadership experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Valid BC Drivers license required
Quality Management Certification would be considered an asset
