The Opportunity

We are seeking a Technical Integration Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Firm. This position will be based in our White Plains, NY office (hybrid). The Technical Integration Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for evaluating application quality and usability that supports the Firm’s end-user requirements. Executes manual functional, regression, integration, and reporting. Documents and reports test results. Develops and maintains test plans.  

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates program functionality and system integration for the Firm's desktop applications, including various in-house applications and specifically Microsoft Office 365 and NetDocuments.
  • Develops and maintains test plans and test cases.
  • Verifies, validates, documents and reports test results.
  • Reports defects to developers and application managers and verifies corrections.
  • Identifies areas of improvement if necessary.
  • Ensures that new and existing product functionality are reliable, defect free and function as intended.
  • Documents instructions and procedures.
  • Investigates and troubleshoots customer's technical and application issues referred by Technical Support.
  • Tests new software and hardware prior to deployment and system modifications to prepare for implementation.
  • Participates in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
  • Provides feedback and recommendations to developers and/or vendors on software use, ability, and functionality.
  • Develops software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness for users.
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others.
  • Manages Firm resources responsibly.
  • Complies with and understands Firm operation, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, NetDocuments, and current Windows OS
  • Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs, with the ability to learn new software and operating system
  • Knowledge of general testing procedures and methodologies
  • Familiarity with software architecture and development processes
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrates close attention to detail

Education and Experience

The starting base salary for this position is expected to be within the range listed under Salary Details.  Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable law.
