JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Technical Implementation Vice President within Client Onboarding Technical Implementations, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our most strategic clients through complex payment platform integrations. You will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional service and ensuring long-term client retention. Your technical expertise and consultative approach will help us maintain our reputation for excellence and innovation. Together, we will drive successful outcomes and create value for our clients and our firm.

Job responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Stratus or Tandem Payment Platform for complex client integrations
  • Manage the end-to-end certification process for assigned clients
  • Deliver prompt, accurate, and high-quality technical support to top revenue-generating clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal partners
  • Lead discussions and navigate sensitive topics with senior-level executives
  • Participate in scheduled go-live activities, including outside standard business hours as needed
  • Provide after-hours support for client emergencies related to certification and testing
  • Collaborate with partner teams to evolve processes, metrics, and workflows
  • Track and manage issues, ensuring effective communication with senior management
  • Contribute to special projects supporting top-tier clients in Merchant Services
  • Demonstrate ownership and drive issues to resolution with a client-focused mindset

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 5+ years of experience in the payments industry
  • Expertise in Stratus or Tandem Payment Platform
  • Proven experience managing successful certifications for complex clients or projects
  • Strong technical consulting, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and ability to interact with all levels of management, including senior executives
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • EMV certification expertise
  • Experience with Core transaction processing platforms (Stratus, Tandem, Orbital Gateway)
  • Formal project management training or exposure to project management concepts
  • Advanced understanding of networking and connectivity protocols
  • Gateway knowledge in addition to Stratus or Tandem platforms
  • Strong internal network and ability to leverage resources for problem resolution
