Job Description:
WHAT AWAITS YOU.
  • Provides technical support for Western Region consumer litigation cases to improve service quality.
  • Delivers technical assistance to BMW centers and MINI dealers by phone and through on-site visits for litigated vehicles.
  • Documents all technical guidance and assistance accurately and thoroughly.
  • Conducts vehicle inspections to assess eligibility for repurchase under federal and state laws.
  • Exercises discretion to offer remedies including vehicle repurchase, repairs, goodwill payments, or loyalty credits.
  • Applies deep knowledge of federal and state consumer warranty and fraud laws, particularly California standards, and clearly documents decision rationale for legal defense.
  • Acts as a company representative and technical expert in legal proceedings, provides feedback to counsel and engineering leadership, and travels as required.


WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING.
  • Vocational degree, technical degree, associate's degree in automotive technology, or Bachelor's degree
  • Certified BMW Master Technician including all associated specialties
  • ASE Certification, preferred
  • 5+ years experience as a Master Technician or 10+ years experience as a premium brand Master Technician equivalency in training certifications
  • Must have the ability to perform diagnoses of complex technical issues
  • Must be able to work in workshop conditions, including outside

Relocation is available for this position.

The expected salary range for this position is $62,500.00 - $125,000.00.

The selected candidate's education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
