What are your contributions to the team?

In your role, you will:
  • Supervise and support Mass Properties activities of aircraft development projects
  • Participate in Mass Properties activities, such as:
    • Weight and center of gravity (CG) predictions at various levels of details in support of:
      • Aircraft configuration development
      • Tradeoff studies
      • Uncertainty analysis
      • Cost estimations
      • Supplier discussions and negotiations
      • Etc
    • Detailed analysis:
      • Mass distribution and inertias estimations<
      • Fuel migration analysis
      • Buoyancy assessment
    • Weight targets definition
    • Etc
  • Review and approve Mass Properties deliverables
  • Participate in the planning and tracking of Mass Properties activities
  • Participate in discussions with internal and external contributors and/or partners as a Mass Properties representative
  • Take active role in integration activities as a senior representative of the Mass Properties discipline
  • Contribute to the development plan for Mass Properties tools and processes with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Provide supervision, guidance and mentoring to more junior members of the Mass Properties team
  • Supervise engineering students' internships.
