Description

ALL4 is looking for a Technical Consultant to support our Raleigh Office located in Durham, NC. The Technical Consultant will serve primarily as an expert for key ALL4 Technical Areas (water, waster, air, health and safety, etc.) with a secondary component of effective project management and traditional client expansion. They are one of the go-to individuals within the company for project execution, implementation, client and prospect communications, and technical advice within their areas of expertise.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in a subset of a key regulatory or technical service area(s) and general Environmental regulatory and compliance knowledge. These areas include water, waste, air, health and safety, and others.
  • Ability to prepare and execute high-level technical work individually, with the capacity to direct others on how to do the same.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge that allows for a nuanced understanding of a Technical Area beyond what would be apparent to an entry level employee.
  • Build effective teams and enroll members as necessary. Can communicate all facets of day-to-day work within the Technical Area to both internal teams and clients.
  • Educate the company on the obligations and considerations of existing clients and prospects within a Technical Area.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory organizations, industry technical experts/peers, and provide technical interpretation, review, and strategic analysis of Federal, state, and local environmental regulations for clients.
  • Engage with senior resources to ensure best decision-making practices for complicated issues with high visibility and ALL4/client liability.
  • Prepare and present conference papers or presentations.
  • Consistently and reliably meet or exceed personal utilization goals and profit targets.
  • Develop technical approach and cost assumptions for proposals and scope of work documents to attain project work and to meet schedules and contract requirements.
  • Utilize ALL4 project management support systems to ensure project profitability and to satisfy client deliverable and scope of work requirements.
  • Assume technical responsibility and maintain routine and timely communication with all internal and external project participants.
  • Manage annual client revenues as collaboratively determined by the leadership team.
  • Plan, organize, and execute projects within technical discipline, while serving as clients' primary point of contact.
  • Ensure project compliance with ALL4 Quality Assurance guidelines.
  • Demonstrate a high-level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.
  • May be required to coordinate staff.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • Engineering or applicable science degree and collective experiences equivalent to 5 years of consulting or industry experience in an Environmental technical discipline.
  • Advanced level knowledge in one or more key technical areas impacting clients.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and delegate workflow proactively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including strong document production skills (proficiency in Word and Excel) and technical writing ability.
