Job ResponsibilitiesRequirements Gathering and Analysis- Collaborate with business partners to elicit, document, and prioritize data and analytics requirements.
- Conduct detailed analysis of business processes and workflows to identify data needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Create clear and concise documentation, including business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, data definitions, and use cases.
- Translate business requirements into Features, User Stories, data requirements, and technical specifications.
Solution Design and Implementation- Partner with Product Managers, Data Engineers, and Architects to define and deliver data products that meet business needs and align with enterprise standards.
- Participate in the development, testing, and deployment of data and analytics solutions.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all implemented solutions.
- Support validation, testing, and adoption of data products, reporting solutions, and analytical capabilities.
Business Partnership Engagement- Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and outcomes.
- Support user adoption through documentation, demonstrations, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Demonstrate the ability to adapt to changing priorities and communicate effectively with business partners.
Continuous Improvement- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data, analytics, and technology.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of standards, governance practices, and delivery processes within the Financial Data Services team.
- Apply analytical and statistical rigor to solve complex business problems and support data-driven decision making.
Job Qualifications- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Data Product Analyst supporting data and analytics initiatives.
- Solid understanding of data products, data management principles, data warehousing, and business intelligence tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in SQL; experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Experience working within Agile or SAFe delivery frameworks and tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, competing priorities, and evolving business needs.
