Job Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Architect with strong expertise in cloud, network, infrastructure, and security technologies to support large-scale IT infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in planning, designing, implementing, administering, operating, and upgrading enterprise infrastructure and security solutions, along with strong ITIL service management experience and an active CISSP certification.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead large-scale IT infrastructure operations using ITIL service management best practices.
• Plan, design, implement, administer, operate, and upgrade enterprise network technologies, including Palo Alto firewalls, F5 or comparable load balancers, routers, and data center switches.
• Plan, design, implement, administer, operate, and upgrade Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Oracle Enterprise Linux environments.
• Manage container and container management technologies, including Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Manage middleware and system software, including Apache HTTP Server, Oracle WebLogic, WildFly, and Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (JBoss EAP).
• Plan, design, implement, administer, operate, and upgrade database management systems, including Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, MariaDB, and Microsoft Azure Synapse.
• Manage privileged account management solutions using technologies such as Thycotic and CyberArk.
• Manage Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions using technologies such as Splunk.
• Manage threat and vulnerability management solutions using technologies such as Tenable and Qualys.
• Manage enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using technologies such as Okta and Azure Active Directory.
• Plan and support migration of on-premises infrastructure to cloud environments.
• Provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to state staff.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting large-scale IT infrastructure operations in a lead capacity using ITIL service management best practices.
• Minimum of 5 years of combined experience planning, designing, implementing, administering, operating, and upgrading network technologies, including Palo Alto firewalls, F5 or comparable load balancers, routers, and data center switches.
• Minimum of 5 years of combined experience with Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Oracle Enterprise Linux.
• Minimum of 5 years of combined experience with Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Minimum of 5 years of combined experience with Apache HTTP Server, Oracle WebLogic, WildFly, and Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (JBoss EAP).
