Technical Account Manager - San Antonio
What You'll Own
- Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship owner for a defined set of Uprite clients - the person they trust to keep their technology on track
- Run recurring client meetings and Business Technology Reviews, translating what's happening in their environment into plain-language recommendations
- Build and maintain technology roadmaps and budgets that map to each client's actual business goals
- Identify and propose solutions that reduce client risk and improve their day-to-day operations, then work with our project team to deliver them
- Own the sales pipeline for your accounts in ConnectWise Manage, from opportunity to close
- Support new client onboarding, Business Technology Assessments for prospects, and occasional pre-sales support alongside the sales team
- Escalate and resolve client issues - service, billing, or vendor - by working the right people inside Uprite until it's fixed
What You Bring- 5+ years in an MSP or IT services environment, with real hands-on technical grounding
- Experience owning client or account relationships - you know how to run a meeting, manage expectations, and be the calm, credible voice when something goes wrong
- Comfort discussing budgets, risk, and priorities with business owners and leadership - not just IT staff
- Sales instincts: you can spot an opportunity, build a proposal, and close it, or you're eager to build that muscle
- A bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
Nice to have: prior sales engineering experience, or a track record of growing revenue within an existing account base.
