Role Summary Supports requirements gathering, process documentation, and high-quality technical writing/editing of all ORIS deliverables, playbooks, training materials, and knowledge-transfer artifacts.
Primary Responsibilities
- Document workflows, decision-rights matrices, and Value Stream processes and maintain version control of enterprise curriculum and governance documents
- Perform tasks such as writing and editing materials, such as reports, regulations, articles, newsletters, magazines, news releases, training materials, brochures, interpretive handbooks, pamphlets, guidebooks, scholarly works, reference works, speeches, or scripts.
- Gathers, analyzes, and composes technical information required for preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, reports, etc.
- Edits functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, or any other customer deliverables and documents.
- Conducts research and ensures the use of proper technical terminology and translates technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or 6 additional years of specialized experience in lieu of degree)
- Minimum 4 years of specialized experience in requirements analysis, documentation, or technical writing in a health IT environment
- Strong command of medical/healthcare terminology is a must
- Strong experience with computer-based systems
- Proven ability to translate complex clinical informatics concepts into clear user-facing materials
Desired Qualifications
- Experience writing for VA or Federal EHR audiences
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, or Confluence
