Cloud Administrator (Administrative mindset with root cause analysis ability.)
5+ years' experience as an IT Cloud Systems Administrator
2+ years of experience with PowerShell and/or Bash Scripting.
2+ years of experience with debugging (grepping logs, stack traces, tracking down permissions issues, etc.)
Experience implementing systems networking and security controls for cloud environments.
Familiarity with monitoring and log management tools for cloud-based systems (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver).
Solid understanding of networking concepts, virtualization, and containerization technologies.
Fluency in the administration of container management and orchestration systems like Kubernetes, OpenShift
Proficiency in cloud infrastructure management, provisioning, and automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and infrastructure management.
Experience with Web Server (IIS or Apache) administration.
Familiarity with common services such as Identity and Access Management, Directory Services, Virtual Desktops, Networking, Compute, Storage, etc.
Experience migrating workloads to Public Cloud Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Understanding of enterprise class SAN, NAS, and backup technologies
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud-based systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-project team environment.
Ability to think strategically, identify best-fit solutions, develop plans, and execute.
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator Associate, or Google Cloud Certified Associate Cloud Engineer are a plus.
