Position Details:Job Title: Tech Lead - Java Developer
Location: Columbus, OH or Plano, TX (Onsite - 5 Days/Week)
Job Overview:Required Technical Skills- 10-12+ years of experience in software development and technical leadership.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Java-based microservices.
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud-native architecture.
- Good experience with PostgreSQL/database design, migration, and optimization.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
- Good understanding of QA automation tools and continuous testing practices.
- Experience in legacy application modernization and cloud migration projects.
- Strong understanding of application performance, scalability, availability, and resiliency.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Key Responsibilities- Define and implement Java-based microservices architecture and support UI transformation initiatives.
- Drive application decomposition, service design, API integration, and cloud-native architecture.
- Lead PostgreSQL database migration, optimization, and data integration activities.
- Design and implement scalable, highly available, and resilient AWS solutions.
- Drive CI/CD, DevOps automation, infrastructure automation, and deployment processes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Java, AWS, QA, and DevOps team members.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, business teams, and other engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Salary and Other Compensation:The annual salary for this position is between $140,000-$170,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
