Job Summary

The Tech Lead will help lead and design technology solutions supporting Private Equity and Alternative Investment operations, with a focus on Fund Accounting, Fund Valuation, and oversight of Fund NAVs. The role requires strong technology and data expertise, including experience working with unstructured data, market data integrations, AI-assisted reconciliation, and workflow automation. The Tech Lead will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to develop solutions supporting the evolving Private Markets technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and contribute to the design of technology solutions supporting Private Equity and Alternative Investment operations.
• Support the development and evolution of technology capabilities for Fund Accounting, Fund Valuation, and Fund NAV oversight.
• Analyze business and technology requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Work with structured and unstructured data to support Private Markets use cases.
• Integrate market data sources and related financial data into technology solutions.
• Explore and implement AI-assisted reconciliation capabilities and workflow automation.
• Collaborate with business, investment, accounting, data, and technology stakeholders to understand operational requirements.
• Contribute to technology architecture, solution design, implementation, and continuous improvement.
• Support data-driven processes and solutions for fund valuation and oversight.
• Evaluate relevant technologies and approaches that improve operational efficiency and data quality.
• Work effectively across cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions aligned with Private Markets requirements.

Required Qualifications
• Strong experience in Private Markets, Private Equity, Alternative Investments, or a closely related financial services environment.
• Experience with Fund Accounting, Fund Valuation, Fund NAVs, or related investment operations technology.
• Strong AWS experience.
• Strong data skills with experience working with structured and unstructured data.
• Experience with market data integrations.
• Experience with AI-assisted reconciliation, workflow automation, or related financial technology capabilities.
• Strong technical leadership and solution design experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Canoe or MSCI.
• Experience designing or leading Private Markets technology stacks.
• Experience with investment operations, fund oversight, or alternative investment platforms.
