As the Quality Team Manager, you will be at the forefront of the most historic transformation in the energy systems industry. In this critical role, you will:

Responsibilities

What you'll do...
  • Operational Excellence & Quality Systems
  • Drive continuous adherence to the Quality Operating System (QOS) and lead Ford Energy Production System activities.
  • Manage Pre-Delivery Finished Inventory and assess "OK to Ship" status daily to ensure only the highest quality products reach our customers.
  • Provide real-time quality feedback to departments and ensure quality specifications are upheld.
  • Oversee surveillance calls and campaigns, ensuring all departments respond with urgency and precision.
  • Drive Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement processes across all functions.
  • Leadership & Culture
    • Develop a "Leaders as Teachers" environment, providing coaching and training to optimize individual performance and career advancement.
    • Embrace the Gemba philosophy: Engage regularly on the production floor to listen, learn, and problem-solve alongside your team.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.

Company: As Ford establishes a wholly owned subsidiary focused on Battery Energy Storage Systems, this role will initially be employed by Ford and is expected to transition to the subsidiary within one year.
