Full Job Description
Arbella is looking for an exceptional Claim Team Manager for our Auto Property team. This candidate will successfully lead and develop a team of Auto Appraisers in the appraisal and timely disposition of auto property claims.
Responsibilities
  • Select, train and develop an effective high performing team.
  • Provide direction, coaching, set expectations and manage the performance of the team.
  • Conduct performance appraisals; recommend salary adjustment, and promotions.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and high quality work from direct reports.
  • Successfully lead operation and team and make change in process, procedures and structure to optimize resources and achieve business goals.
  • Analyze claims and management information; provide guidance to employees regarding investigations and appraisals.
  • Collaborate with managers, examiners, insureds, claimants, vendors and attorneys as needed to facilitate the appraisal process.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred and 5 - 7 years of auto appraising experience
  • Experience in a supervisory role is strongly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Exceptional communication, customer service and relationship building skills required.
  • MA Appraisal license and driver's license in good standing
  • Travel is required.
