Halff is seeking to hire an experienced Team Leader to lead our Planning and Landscape Architecture team in the Oklahoma City office. This is a rare opportunity to lead a team of planners, designers, and project managers in a collaborative environment to help clients plan, design, and implement projects that improve their communities.
The Halff Oklahoma City team is involved in a variety of exciting community enhancement projects across Oklahoma and in nearby states. What you will do- The responsibilities of this leadership position include oversight of the Oklahoma planning and design team and facilitation of our efforts to deliver award-winning projects.
- Projects will include comprehensive plans, parks and trails planning, downtown and special area plans, mobility planning, codes and development guidance, and much more.
- The ideal candidate can balance client, company and project team responsibilities, including strategic pursuits and marketing, project leadership, team representation, oversight and preparation of high-quality documents and deliverables, and interactive public engagement.
What you will need:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Regional/Urban Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a closely related field.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a planning capacity.
- Three or more years of recent project management experience in a consultant or similar private sector capacity.
- Well organized, detail-oriented individual with strong leadership and relationship skills.
- Comfortable with public speaking and community engagement.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Familiarity and experience with computer programs such as GIS, Adobe Creative Suite, and Office.
- The ability to travel periodically to client communities.
- Experience working with both public and private sector clientele, is desired.
- AICP and/or other certifications form our allied professional (ASLA, AIA, CNU-A, LEED, etc.), is desired.
