Pharmacy team is hiring a
Team Leader - Pharmacist to assist with overseeing work related activities within the department, in order to assist management in assessing area productivity levels and maintaining optimum efficiency in work flow.
Pay Range: $79.00 - $83.00 based on experience
Available Schedule(s): Full-time: 7:00am-3:30pm, 3:00pm-11:30pm, 8:30pm-7:00am, with rotation of weekends, holidays & other shifts as needed
Team Leader - Pharmacist Responsibilities:- Acts as a lead point-of-contact and knowledge expert to all employees within department or assigned area
- Provides on-going training to existing team members as required
- Acts as a resource during the on-boarding and training of new employees
- Follows specific guidelines for problem solving including but not limited to stock outages, staffing and emergency situations within the department
- Proactively ensures Simplifi797 (or similar program) tasks are completed with the highest level of accuracy
- Actively participates in the pharmacy based Heparin and Argatroban Dosing Services as per approved guidelines
- Actively participates in the pharmacy based Pharmacokinetics and/or Warfarin Protocol Dosing Services as per approved guidelines
- Ensures compliance with all governmental, professional and hospital rules and regulations regarding the practice of pharmacy
- Assumes other duties as assigned by department leadership
Team Leader - Pharmacist Requirements: - A current New York State Pharmacy License
- Three (3) years Hospital Pharmacy experience
