Pay Range: Acera's total compensation offerings are based on pay for performance that recognizes exceptional individual and company performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $90,000 - $115,000 CAD annually; the pay offering is based on location and will vary depending on related education, insurance experience, proven knowledge, skills, and internal equity.
Summary:The Team Leader, Commercial Client Experience, Real Estate reports to the Managing Director Commercial Operations, BC/YT and oversees the daily operations and workflow of the members on our Real Estate team.
Essential Functions:- Fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.
- Supporting continuous learning and development of individuals and teams.
- Organising the onboarding, training, optimization, and career development for Client Advisors and Associates.
- Collaborating with the Director of Real Estate and People & Culture team to ensure appropriate support across the sales team.
- Supporting recruitment, selection, and workforce planning processes.
- Motivating and supporting team members through performance management and professional development.
- Providing coverage for Client Advisors and Associates responsibilities during peak periods or as needed.
- Managing workflows, resource allocation and coordinating with other departments/teams to optimize processes.
- Communicating Real Estate Programs process or policy changes to Acera-wide Real Estate Client Advisors and Associates.
- Conducting audits, reviewing files, and reporting on key metrics to support continuous improvement
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:- Level 2 BC General Insurance License.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Minimum two years of experience working on commercial accounts.
- Experience working with EPIC would be considered an asset.
- Intermediate to Advanced with Microsoft Office programs, primarily Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability to workflow or procedure changes.
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong knowledge of market conditions, insurance products and policy wordings.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and professional working relationships with clients, underwriters, and colleagues.
