Team Lead - Senior Cost Controller, you will play a key role in financial governance and the operational performance of large-scale projects. You will oversee cost control activities across multiple mandates while leading a team of professionals, directly contributing to impactful projects for our clients and the communities we serve.
Your ImpactAs a Cost Controller:- Manage budgets and forecasts to ensure the financial health of projects
- Analyze variances and recommend corrective actions to optimize performance
- Apply Earned Value Management EVM principles to support decision making
- Ensure rigorous tracking of project performance in collaboration with stakeholders
- Manage changes and their financial impacts throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with processes policies and contractual requirements
As a Team Lead:- Lead, engage and develop a cost control team
- Allocate resources across projects
- Ensure the quality of deliverables
- Review and approve outputs
- Participate in recruitment
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
The skills that set you apart- University degree Bachelor's in engineering finance project management or a related field
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in cost control within complex engineering project environments
- Proven expertise in Earned Value Management EVM and project financial control
- Demonstrated experience in team management and development
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills in dynamic environments
- Knowledge of AACE and or PMI frameworks and certifications strong asset
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
- Bilingualism is required as the individual will frequently be involved in projects with English speaking clients and partners outside Quebec
