Responsibilities

The Team Lead, Product and Delivery is responsible for product strategy, value realization, and delivery execution across assigned products, platforms, and initiatives. This role leads Product Managers and Delivery Managers and is accountable for ensuring the right work is prioritized, funded, sequenced, and delivered predictably. The role partners closely with Engineering Managers and Architecture to translate business needs into actionable roadmaps and delivery plans, while maintaining clear accountability for outcomes, timelines, and stakeholder alignment.

 

  • Lead Product Managers and Delivery Managers responsible for product strategy, roadmap execution, and delivery outcomes.
  • Own product vision, strategy, and prioritization for assigned domains, platforms, or initiatives.
  • Establish and track OKRs focused on business outcomes, value realization, and delivery predictability.
  • Ensure strong product discovery, backlog management, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Own delivery planning and execution, ensuring work is sequenced, resourced, and delivered within approved scope and timelines.
  • Proactively manage delivery risks, dependencies, scope changes, and tradeoffs.
  • Provide transparent delivery status, risk reporting, and decision support to leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to SDLC, SOX, and other applicable governance and compliance requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for product value and delivery outcomes.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Architecture to balance scope, feasibility, timelines, and technical constraints.
  • Translate Operating Unit and business needs into prioritized roadmaps and delivery plans.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Product Managers and Delivery Managers through performance management and talent development.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and team composition decisions.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide hands on product management and requirements capacity as needed to facilitate outcomes.
  • Directly engage in projects of significant strategic importance in product management and delivery capacities.
Qualifications
  • 5–10 years of experience in product management, delivery management, or technology leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading Product Managers and/or Delivery Managers.
  • Strong understanding of software delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
  • Experience managing complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders and operating units.
  • Experience operating in enterprise and regulated environments.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and executive-level stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance value, risk, cost, and delivery predictability.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • P&C Insurance Experience preferred but not required.
