Team Lead - JLL
What this job involves:

As Team Lead, you will be responsible for operational excellence through regional management plan/routines within Project Management service delivery within assigned region, including the team's ability to exceed client's CPI/KPIs, adherence to client process/deliverables and training. You will lead a team of up to 5-7 Project Managers with responsibility to assist team members with project delivery and professional career development while overseeing and/or preparing accurate monthly cash flow forecast projections for assigned region and associated client operating units. This role requires effective management of the regional project team to deliver against forecasted cash flow commitments on a monthly & quarterly basis while ensuring team's use of JLL technology as required for assigned projects and managing vendors to ensure full compliance with all project policies and procedures.
What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Lead a team of up to 5-7 Project Managers with responsibility for project delivery and professional career development
  • Oversee and/or prepare accurate monthly cash flow forecast projections for assigned region and associated client operating units
  • Assist Regional Delivery Manager in effective management of Capital Plan project releases to adhere to CPI/KPI performance
  • Manage vendors (GC, A&E, Security, signage, etc.) to ensure full compliance with all project policies and procedures
  • Lead project teams consisting of architects, design engineers, general and specialty contractors, and various stakeholders
  • Manage multiple projects directly or through the team at various phases and in various locations
  • Provide monthly project activity updates to Regional Delivery Manager via account tools
  • Collaborate with regional JLL peers to identify and address areas of concern regarding regional risk
  • Support annual Capital Planning cycle through resource review, project validation and estimates
  • Hold team accountable to JLL and client expectations through regular touch points
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution
  • 5+ years as a Project Manager or similar role
  • Ability to regularly communicate analyzed data to client and team to achieve project goals
  • Strong working knowledge of architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients
  • Ability to manage all aspects of construction projects effectively and efficiently including budgeting, scheduling, submittals, change orders
  • Firm knowledge of construction, architecture or commercial real estate industry
  • Organizational & detail-oriented with ability to prioritize and manage differing needs of the business
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree preference towards Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
  • LEED, AIA, PE, PMP certifications
  • Experience with team leadership and management
  • Knowledge of capital planning processes and resource management
  • Experience with client relationship management and account growth initiatives
  • Understanding of cash flow forecasting and financial management
  • Experience with vendor management and contract administration
  • Knowledge of JLL technology platforms and project management tools
  • Experience with business intelligence dashboards and reporting
