Responsibilities
  • Provide high quality Special Instruction Services in accordance with children's IFSPs

  • Performs evaluations and ongoing assessments and tracks child progress.

  • Provides parent coaching and teaches strategies that promote skill development during daily routines.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies to improve social interaction, communication, play skills, and adaptive skills.

  • Participate in IFSP meetings, team meetings, and case conferences.

Qualifications
  • Must have one of the following teaching certifications:

    • Teacher of the Deaf and Hearing Impaired

    • Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH)

    • Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)

  • Certification or eligibility to provide Special Instruction through the New York State Early Intervention Program.

Posted Salary RangeUSD $70.00 - USD $75.00 /Hr. Bonus
