school-based position in New Hampshire for the .

Position Details- Job Title: Teacher of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing (TODHH)
- Location: New Hampshire (Onsite)
- Schedule: Full-Time (35-40 hours/week, 5 days/week)
- Pay Rate: $45-$50/hour (consistent weekly pay based on scheduled hours)
- Setting: Public school / special education
- School Year: 2026-2027

Teacher of the Deaf Responsibilities- Provide individualized instruction and support for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Adapt curriculum and materials to ensure accessible learning environments
- Use American Sign Language (ASL) and/or other communication modalities as appropriate
- Collaborate with teachers, speech-language pathologists (SLPs), special education staff, and related service providers
- Support development of communication, language, and academic skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Utilize assistive technology and adaptive strategies to support student access
- Communicate regularly with families and caregivers
- Advocate for student needs and promote inclusive educational practices
Qualifications- Valid New Hampshire DOE Teacher of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing Certification
- ASL (American Sign Language) proficiency / certification
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Deaf Education or related field
- Experience or interest in special education, deaf education, or hearing impairment services
- Strong communication, collaboration, and instructional skills
