Job Description
We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a
Tax Manager to join the team in our
Boston office.
CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.
YOUR TEAM. This position will support our
Real Estate Group. You will work on a team with other Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners. This team has a passion for what they do and a focus on consistently delivering value to our clients.
YOUR ROLE. Responsibilities include but not limited to:- You will be responsible for managing all aspects of client relationships.
- You will help generate opportunities within existing clients, as well as meeting with and pursuing new clients.
- You will develop a thorough understanding of all audit, tax and consulting services provided by the firm, and actively participate in proposals.
- Work with a team to meet various department deadlines throughout the year
- Assist with the process and review of 1065 tax returns
- Other Ad Hoc projects as needed
YOUR EXPERIENCE. The successful candidate will have:- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's in Accounting/Taxation preferred
- CPA, JD or EA required
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive tax experience, include compliance and multi-state tax matters
- 1+ years of supervisory experience
- Real Estate industry experience preferred
- Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
- Ability to lead, manage and develop staff in a highly interactive team environment
- Proven technical skills with MS Office to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Competence with tax compliance and research software to include CCH Axcess, BNA portfolio and projection, RIA Checkpoint
- Solid project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task.

Massachusetts, the salary range for a
Tax Manager is $120,000 to $160,000.
