Full Job Description
What You'll Do
  • Lead and manage approximately 12 tax and accounting professionals.
  • Assign and oversee annual tax return preparation and review processes.
  • Review and prepare complex corporate, partnership, fiduciary, and individual tax returns.
  • Review monthly accounting compilations, financial statements, and reconciliations for complex clients.
  • Oversee quarterly tax estimate preparation and delivery while personally managing higher-level engagements.
  • Manage IRS and state examinations, tax notices, and other compliance matters.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for a portfolio of complex tax and accounting clients.
  • Partner with our Client Care Team to continually improve client onboarding, communication, and service delivery.
  • Monitor workflow, prioritize deadlines, and ensure exceptional client service throughout the year.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop staff through performance management, feedback, and day-to-day leadership.
  • Foster a collaborative, positive culture focused on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years of progressive tax and accounting experience.
  • Previous experience leading and developing professional staff.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., Accounting, Business) required.
  • Strong knowledge of tax compliance and financial accounting.
  • Experience with tax and accounting software.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional quality and client service.
