About the Role:

We are seeking a Talent Programs Specialist to lead and evolve our Engineering University Program. In this role, you will own the end-to-end experience for our interns, apprentices, and new graduates-from program planning and event execution to cohort engagement and continuous program improvement. Building on a strong existing foundation, you will assess opportunities to enhance the program and drive an even more impactful experience for future cohorts.

You will partner closely with stakeholders across Talent Acquisition, Engineering, People teams, and business leaders to deliver a seamless and enriching participant journey. Leveraging your expertise in university recruiting, program management, and employee experience, you will lead multiple initiatives that foster inclusion, engagement, and development while ensuring the success of our early career talent programs.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of Affirm's Engineering University Programs, including internship, apprenticeship, and new graduate programs.
  • Deliver an exceptional experience for early-career talent through engaging programming, events, and development opportunities.
  • Partner closely with University Recruiting to ensure a seamless experience from candidate acceptance through program completion.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Engineering, Talent Acquisition, People, and Learning & Development to align program goals, drive engagement, and measure success.
  • Use participant feedback, stakeholder input, and program metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance program outcomes year over year.
  • Manage program communications, timelines, logistics, and participant support across multiple initiatives simultaneously.
What We Look For:
  • 3+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably within talent, university recruiting, or employee experience programs.
  • Experience designing and managing university talent programs, including internships, campus recruiting initiatives, and early-career development programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to create exceptional participant experiences by partnering across teams, gathering feedback, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Passion for fostering diverse, inclusive, and equitable talent programs.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.


Pay Grade - H

Equity Grade - 3

Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.

Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents.)

CAN base pay range per year: $77,000 - $127,000

About Affirm

Affirm is a publicly traded financial technology company headquartered in San Francisco, United States.
