Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will Do In This Role:
  • Create and manage purchase orders, supplier confirmations, delivery schedules, and expediting activities to ensure material availability.
  • Execute procurement planning activities in SAP and maintain planning parameters and master data to support service, inventory, and production objectives.
  • Analyze inventory performance, material coverage, and demand trends, and support actions to address excess, obsolete, or shortage risks.
  • Monitor material shortages and communicate potential impacts to production schedules and customer requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned suppliers regarding deliveries, schedule changes, and supply issues.
  • Monitor supplier performance, delivery commitments, and capacity constraints, escalating risks as needed.
  • Participate in supplier reviews and support issue resolution activities with Procurement, Operations, and Supplier Quality teams.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs that support supply chain decision-making.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning, inventory management, process efficiency, and supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Buyers, Logistics, Production Planning, Customer Service, and other cross-functional stakeholders to support business objectives.
  • Adhere to EHSS requirements and company policies.
  • Perform other duties and support special projects as assigned.
  • Own actions to address material shortages, schedule changes, and inventory concerns.
  • Escalate supplier delivery, quality, or capacity risks to Materials Management and Procurement leadership.
  • Maintain approved planning parameters and material master data within SAP.
  • Recommend premium freight requests and alternate sourcing opportunities for management review.


What We Are Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Materials Planning, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Inventory Management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to international suppliers and project-based manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, including MRP, procure-to-pay processes, and master data maintenance.
  • Experience with supplier portals (e.g., SupplyON) and EDI processes preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with PowerPoint and Word.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret supply chain data and identify trends.
  • Familiarity with AI and digital tools supporting Supply Chain and Procurement processes is a plus.
  • Understanding of materials planning, supplier management, inventory control, logistics, and procurement processes.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Continuous improvement mindset focused on efficiency, service, and operational performance.
