Full Job Description

Title:

Systems Test Engineer

This is a contingent position based upon contract award.

KBR is seeking a Systems Test Engineer to join our team. The test engineer will maintain a development environment, incorporate industry standards and best practices to ensure software development follows a structured development, test, and release management process.  

Job Duties:

  • Applies industry standards and best practices for managing test tool and software development.
  • Adheres to change management, configuration control and enforcement of service level agreements.
  • Analyzes user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures in support of system requirements specifications.
  • Analyzes system requirements and provide feedback to technical delivery team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI is required
  • Five (5) or more years’ experience with system requirements, system development and implementation, system testing, configuration management processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Science, Computer Science, or related quantitative science field
  • Experience following a formal procedure for coordinating system integration activities among multiple teams, ensuring complete coverage of all interfaces
  • Experience supporting the federal government or DoD

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting system requirements and system integration at the enterprise level
  • Ability to work collaboratively across agencies and physical locations
  • Experience with Agile Software Development

Basic Compensation:

$132,300.00 - $161,600.00

This is for the Washington, DC Metro Area Only)

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
