Full Job Description
This overseas position is located on Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. Benefits of this unique location include free housing, three meals a day and potential for overseas U.S. tax incentives.

What You Will Do:
  • Tackle a variety of challenges including RF, hardware, electrical, configuration, operations, maintenance and projects.
  • Lead the RF Safety program. This includes working with the emitter site personnel to schedule and perform RF Surveys, creation and oversight of RF Safety documentation and training, coordinating and guiding new and existing programs/projects that require RF oversight or inputs, and providing clear and frequent communication with management and government.
  • Responsibilities also include operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvements of the land and sea-based rocket Flight Safety systems at the small tropical islands of Kwajalein and Roi Namur and on a ship. Systems include processing and display systems, antenna systems, and transmitters.
  • Duties include fault detection, fault isolation, system analysis, reporting, repair, testing and documentation.
  • Other activities include ensuring the systems are cyber compliant in accordance with RMF accreditation requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related STEM degree.
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in Engineering, RF or related disciplines.
  • Experience creating documentation and reports for requirements, design, testing, planning, and other tasks.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in some of the following areas: RF engineering, systems engineering, configuration management and/or project management.
  • Ability to follow and establish configuration management processes.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Ability to provide project planning and estimates.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with teammates, customers and upper management, including presentation skills.
  • Independently motivated to define and pursue projects to completion.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a group and work independently with minimal supervision as dictated by the situation.
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent tasks and projects and provide status on all.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work on a ship and go to sea.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport.
  • Must be able to relocate to the United States Army Garrison, Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.
  • The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements.

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience in systems engineering and/or other engineering best practices such as design reviews, testing, FMEA, and configuration control.
  • Experience with all phases of application lifecycle development including requirements, design, implementation, and verification.
  • Experience with software programming.
  • PMP, CAPM, or PMI-SP certified.
  • Proficiency in working in and/or managing Jira, Maximo, and Microsoft Teams.
