The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator & Systems Integrator to support software and system development, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of Army mission systems. This dual-role position combines with hands-on hardware/software integration across multi-platform, multi-vendor environments.

You will collaborate closely with the software integration team, Army stakeholders, RF technology vendors, and cross-functional engineering groups to ensure interoperability, mission‑ready performance, and reliable field deployment of critical systems. This role spans end‑to‑end integration—hardware provisioning, system configuration, dataflow integration, network architecture alignment, software deployment, and secure system sustainment.

Responsibilities:
Systems Administration

• Install, configure, secure, and maintain Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server and workstation environments.
• Manage Active Directory services, account management, GPOs, and authentication controls.
• Perform OS/application patching, STIG compliance remediation, RMF alignment, and vulnerability updates.
• Deploy and maintain virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper‑V, KVM, cloud-hosted equivalents).
• Monitor logs, system performance, bandwidth usage, and security alerts; optimize reliability in constrained environments.
• Provide Tier II/III support to end users and mission operators, including troubleshooting hardware/software/network issues.
• Implement disaster recovery practices, backups, and secure configuration baselines.

Systems Integration (Hardware, Software, RF, Networking)

• Provision hardware for software installation, including servers, network gear, RF receivers, sensors, storage, and tactical computing systems.
• Integrate multi-component systems (hardware/software/RF/networking) across tactical, fixed, and mobile platforms following Army-standard drawing packages.
• Configure end-to-end network configurations, interfaces, protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, multicast), DNS, DHCP, and routing in bandwidth‑constrained environments.
• Align integration and deployment activities with Army baseline standards to ensure RF receiver interoperability.
• Conduct system-level validation of integrated configurations; test hardware/software compatibility; resolve dependency conflicts, interface mismatches, and performance issues.
• Combine components from multiple vendors into unified, repeatable, secure mission solutions.

Software Deployment & Configuration

• Integrate, test, deploy, and sustain thick‑client, web-based, and software applications.
• Oversee OS installations and secure network migrations.
• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot Army mission applications, including RF-enabled or receiver-dependent software stacks.
• Ensure timely deployment of patches, updates, change packages, and security fixes while minimizing operational disruption.
• Maintain configuration consistency, version control, environment alignment, and deployment automation best practices.

Testing, Documentation & Field Support

• Support internal and external test events verifying mission capability prior to fielding to operational units.
• Conduct integration testing, functional testing, acceptance testing, RF signal-flow validation, and architecture verification.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including installation guides, configuration procedures, troubleshooting steps, wiring diagrams, and dataflow/interface specifications.
• Provide on-site installation, validation, operator guidance, and direct support to unit leaders, stakeholders, and government customers.
• Share best practices within integration teams; contribute to continuous process improvement.

Qualifications:

Required: 

• Deploy and maintain virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper‑V, KVM, cloud-hosted equivalents).
• Provide Tier II/III support to end users and mission operators, including troubleshooting hardware/software/network issues.
• Provision hardware for software installation, including servers, network gear, RF receivers, sensors, storage, and tactical computing systems.
• Conduct system-level validation of integrated configurations; test hardware/software compatibility; resolve dependency conflicts, interface mismatches, and performance issues.
• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot Army mission applications, including RF-enabled or receiver-dependent software stacks.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including installation guides, configuration procedures, troubleshooting steps, wiring diagrams, and dataflow/interface specifications.
• Provide on-site installation, validation, operator guidance, and direct support to unit leaders, stakeholders, and government customers.
• Install, configure, secure, and maintain Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server and workstation environments.
• Active TS/SCI with required polygraph clearance
• Must currently hold a DoD 8140-compliant IAT Level II certification such as: CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security or GSEC.

Education & Experience:

One of the following:

• 3+ yeas of full time experience plus a Bachelors degree
• 4+ years of full time experience plus an Associates degree
• 6+ years of full time experience with no degree

Desired:

• WAN/LAN troubleshooting, routers, switches, firewall configuration.
• Server rack integration, cable routing, physical installation.
• Tier III support experience & ability to guide end users.
• Familiarity with Army baselines and tactical computing systemsDataflow technologies (NiFi, ActiveMQ).
