We are looking for a highly motivated Systems Engineering Asc Mgr to support the Relay Ground Station - South Program, based primarily in Boulder, Colorado. In this role you will provide leadership and individual contributions supporting system engineering tasks -including software, hardware, network, systems administration, and test. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT. Basic Qualifications  B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, or equivalent. Proven ability to resolve and drive complex technical issues and challenges to closure  Familiarity with Systems Engineering Practices (i.e., Requirements, Requirements Decomposition) and Systems Engineering Tools (i.e., DOORS)  Prior experience on one of the following programs: OPIR, NGG, or SBIRS  Active and current Secret clearance to start.
