- Applying Agile/Scrum project management model for a given development effort.
- Troubleshooting systems, hardware, and software when issues occur.
- Documenting standard operating procedures needed to perform maintenance and deployment, and resolving more frequently encountered issues.
- Reducing commonly encountered problems in development or deployment via Bash, Python, or Powershell scripts.
- Ensuring system compliance with enterprise technical architecture and security directives.
- Assisting in keeping management apprised of project or program status.
- Assisting project and program teams in preparing for program management reviews.
Required SkillsMust Have : - MUST HAVE a Current and Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph, as the customer is NOT sponsoring clearances.
- At least 16 years' experience plus a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated aptitude for communicating effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to orchestrate Amazon Web Services (AWS) via CloudFormation templates and stacks.
- Demonstrated ability in using the GitHub code repository.
- Administrative/Engineering experience with Apache, Tomcat, and Nginx web servers, including experience troubleshooting TLS issues.
- Knowledge of database configuration/management using PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Desired SkillsNice to Have : - In-depth knowledge of the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and security-related concepts, with experience in the administration and configuration of PKI software on Linux and Windows.
- Familiarity with configuring Hardware Security Modules (HSMs).
- Experience in security review of applications and infrastructure and how to implement security hardening of hardware and software.
- Experience with cloud-based design, implementation, and configuration.
- Experience with scripting languages like Perl, Bash, Powershell, and Python.
- Experience with infrastructure automation technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with build automation technologies like Maven and Jenkins.
- Experience with building/using APIs and services using REST and SOAP.
Additional DetailsCompensation & Benefits: This position has an anticipated salary range of $163,800-$251,999 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, skills, education, certifications, and business needs.
