Sentar is seeking a Systems Engineer in Aurora, CO!The Systems Engineer III will play a key role in supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA) under the Global Service Provider (GSP) contract. This position involves designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise IT systems to meet operational and security requirements across the DHA's network. The engineer will ensure systems operate efficiently, securely, and in compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) and DHA standards, contributing directly to the mission of delivering secure and reliable healthcare IT solutions to service members and their families.
Role Description:- Design, test, upgrade and integrate new or existing systems and applications in accordance with business requirement
- Provide support for eVault, MS Exchange, pharmacy applications, and MS SQL databases
- Document all aspects of the engineering process as it relates to build and configuration, testing, and deployment of systems and applications
- Support the entire SDLC including process definition, requirements, management, project planning, quality assurance, metrics, testing, certification, validation, and verification, architecture, and reengineering, security, and configuration management
- Utilize Agile techniques such as planning, daily standup, review and retrospective meetings
- Coordinate changes such as implementation of new systems and applications, upgrades or version increments to existing platforms with system administrators and stakeholders
- Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard systems and applications
- Support infrastructure platform modeling, analysis, and planning
- Coordinate with architecture and evaluate new and emerging infrastructure platform technologies and make recommendations for selection of these products
- Assist system administrators with complex troubleshooting issues and if needed coordinates vendor engagements to assist in troubleshooting effort
- Support day-to-day operational or administrative duties for deployed systems and applications in pre-production or production environments
Qualifications:Clearance Level: SecretEducation: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.Certifications: IAT II
Experience:Six (6) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency
**The pay range for this position in $85,000/year to $130,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract rates, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
