Full Job Description
The Space Security Division within Lockheed Martin Space's Mission Solutions business area is seeking a talented and dedicated Systems Engineer-IT to become a member of an Agile team focused on IT Infrastructure (Systems Administration, Networking, & Hardware) in the Charlie Program Area. Selected candidate must be a US Citizen. This position requires a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems, and information technology related responsibilities including design, development, and analysis of computer systems or programs based on and related to user or system design specifications; applying systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that do not perform IT responsibilities, use E146, Systems Engineer. Basic Qualifications • Currently hold an active DOD 8570 certificate (Security+, etc.) • Currently hold an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain an SCI security clearance • 3+ years of experience with IT administration • Experience with managing RHEL 9, Windows 11 and Server 2022, and network equipment • Knowledge of OSI/ TCP-IP Model • Experience with IT system security hardening • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy. Desired Skills • COMSEC Experience, Familiarity with TACLANEs • Both Layer 2/3 Networking hardware, experience with Cisco/Palo Alto hardware, CCNA preferred • Automate IT tasks using tools such as Ansible, particularly with networking equipment. • Proficiency in System architecture and design (using Microsoft Visio or similar) • Cisco ISE knowledge. Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00 The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics. • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
